Experimental Evaluation of End-to-End Delay in a Sigfox Network

This letter presents an experimental evaluation of end-to-end delay in Sigfox networks, considering measurements from the transmitter to server. We carried out two types cases. The first was a static experiment with typical delivery time ranging between 2.5 and 4.5 seconds, 100% rate. second considers mobility, experiments mostly rural environments which is inside car. In this case, we observed rate 20% up eight seconds. Our empirically indicates performance limitations that application developers should consider.
